Review of "Forrest Gump"
Today I’m going to introduce the movie, Forrest Gump, released on July 6,1994. It is a human drama directed by Robert Zemeckis. This movie starred Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, and Mykelti Williamson. The screenwriter, Eric Roth, adapted a novel written by Winston Groom in 1986 into a movie, but it has been greatly changed from the original. However, it won many awards like Golden Globes, British Academy Film Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards. The box office results were about $670,000,000 in the world.
Forrest Gump depicts the life of a young man, Forrest Gump, who is the hero of this movie. He can’t walk without leg braces because of his crooked backbone by nature. He also has a mental disability and was born in a fatherless family, but he grew up receiving generous love from his mother, Mrs. Gump. On the first day of school, the mean children did not allow Forrest to sit down in a seat on the school bus. However, a kind girl, Jenny, let Forrest sit down next to her. They become friends soon and Forrest falls in love with Jenny. On another day, to escape from bullies, Jenny said “Run Forrest, run!” Then Forrest ran and ran while throwing his leg equipment away. After that he becomes good at running, and from this incident, the story unfolds rapidly. Forrest repeats meeting and parting in his life while he keeps holding sincere love for Jenny.
I thought a comparison between Forrest and Jenny was impressive. I can't refer to contents more deeply because it would be a spoiler, but from these points, I strongly felt Forrest and Jenny are opposite. Also, at
the beginning Mrs. Gump said to Forrest “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get until you open it up.” I will probably never forget this phrase. In my opinion, this phrase means nobody knows what will happen in our life, and it was shown in Forrest and Jenny’s life. I think this is the greatest message of this film for us. And this film gives us energy when you feel depressed or you want to challenge something new. I’d like you to watch it at least once.

It seems like the line spacing is different in the first paragraph. We need to try to fix that. I think you'll have to use the Memo pad to remove formatting and then re-paste the text into your post. Also, let's make a small change to the post title. Usually we use italics for titles, but Blogger doesn't allow that here. Just in this case, let's add quotation marks so it reads Review of "Forrest Gump" - Kevin
